The SciComp Team sets up a collaboration with the Stanford University and becomes part of the SU2 Developers team. SU2 is an open source CFD code. Our team focuses on the development of methods and tools for efficient shape optimization, optimal flow control and aerocoustic optimization. This includes research in the field of Algorithmic/Automatic Differentation (AD), Adjoint-based optimization methods like One-Shot and finally the application to multi-discplinary problems involving complex and high-fidelity flow models.
