I am working on multiphysics problems within the context of (shape) optimization with PDEs. For the most part, it’s about computing accurate coupled discrete adjoints but it does involve some CFD solver development as well. I’m realising most of my work through contributions to the open-source code SU2, including
- a conjugate heat transfer capability,
- multiphysics discrete adjoints (the first version to be available starting with SU2 7.0) and
- some general code maintenance.
In the future, I would like to extend these functionalities to cover more and more types of couplings and solvers for sensitivity analysis and design.
